FC Genesis missed out on the chance to extend their lead over W.Vista in their league standings by crumbling 2-3 to the visitors. It was a good game with high intensity but FCG were luckless in front of goal and Woodlands are simply the better side of the day.

FC Genesis did a double over SS with a highly depleted squad with only 1 player on the bench. SS looked the better side in the first half and FCG was lucky to be able to come back despite being a goal down in the 5th minute. SS hired a new coach and looked far more organized as compared to the previous meeting. But FCG completed their task at hand with 4 good goals, most notably matthew's solo goal which left the opposition team breathless.

Few more games to go, lets get the league title guys!

FCG survived an onslaught by ULTRAS who are seeking their second win against FCG this season. Ultras took the lead early in the game after good work from their striker saw them capitalise on a great move. They then extended their lead due to a controversial penalty. Half time score, Ultras 2-0 FCG.

FCG had to work hard to even get a point out of this match and their hard work was duly repaid when aloy's shot in the 60th minute was deflected into the bottom corner, making it 2-1. It took only another 5 minutes for aloy to score yet again after good work on the left by Asher.

Marcus then finished the job for Genesis by rounding the last man with his pace before clinically finishing the opponents off.

5-star come back guys. way to go.

FC Genesis maintained their hot form by beating Sarcofago for the second time in two weeks, netting 5 goals against them this time round. Razali continued his red hot form by grabbing 2 for himself. Husaini also got on the score sheet for the 3rd time in two weeks, from a nice assist by Marcus Mar.

Under-rated striker Charles made it into the scoresheet as well, scoring his first legal goal of the year. You Wee continued the rout to make it a good week for FCG, finishing Sarcofago 5-0.

this tense match of very few chances saw FC Genesis become joint second with Ishkawa with a game in hand. overall, the defence was disciplined and handled the situation well. it was the attacking aspect, which we falter today. husaini did a berbatov today, single handedly getting 2 goals to notch the win for Genesis. it pays to leave the club early guys. look at saini. haha.

overall, we got the result and met the objective! lets do it again next week!

FC GENESIS 5-4 TEAM BBG

FC Genesis cruised to a 5-4 over north-eastern rivals TEAM BBG. Having lost to BBG in the previous encounter, FCG is determined not to lose again, especially ex BBG players Matthew Lim and Asher Tay. Coincidentally both players got on to the score sheet, getting one better over their ex-employers.

To be fair, BBG really brought their game today, with their striker Billy a hard nut to crack. It was a close encounter in which FCG prevailed as the eventual winner. It was a game of little controversies and a good way to spend the sunday.

Overall today's game was fair, goals conceded due to personal errors as pointed out by our assistant manager. Hence its fair enough to say the team performed well as a whole and debutant Dominic managed to impressed as well.

FC GENESIS 1-0 VIPERS SOCIAL

FCG cruised back to the top of the table (goal difference) after beating fellow league contenders vipers social 1-0 thanks to a solitary goal by marcus mar.

vipers started the game brightly, showing us why they are at the top with some neat passing. early in the game, a cross-shot from the vipers deceived the FCG defense and hit the upright, lucky for FCG to escape unscathed.

slowly as the game progressed, FCG picked up their form and started playing to the oppositions' momentum. our slick passing, for once, was good and was effective as we penetrated the opposition several times. the goal came in the first half when aloy's cross-shot was met by marcus mar yet again, who finished the goal cooly.

FCG started the brighter side yet again in the second half but several wasted chances saw the game ended 1-0 to our advantage. GREAT JOB guys, good game despite not playing for two weeks and also for the bangkok guys, time to tip our masseuse more money man! 2500 BAHT.

FC GENESIS 4-0 SS

FC Genesis cruised to a 4-0 victory over 6th placed Team SS to equal Woodlands Vista record of 3 wins and 1 loss. Currently, only Vipers Social managed a better record with 3 wins out of 3.

The venue was Damai Secondary School. As there was last minute pull-outs from Razali and Kelvin due to other commitments, Marcus Mar and Alex Ang was called up to pick up the foils. Marcus impressed with his abundance of pace which led to him clinching 2 of the goals. However, Ash (picture) also played relatively well, getting into wonderful positions and clinching one of the goals of the season, having scored a "no-look" header. Aloysius also added a fourth after good work from Marcus saw the ball deflect to Aloysius, who slotted the ball into the empty net.

Overall, great job lads. Now we have to remember this winning feeling and formula. Today we did not get to exercise the passing game etc but it was because the high balls were not dealt with properly by the opponents. So it is okay I felt. Have a good rest guys. Next week we'll have a tougher game.

Last but not least, on behalf of FCG, i would like to wish ah tan all the best in his studies in norway, hope he enjoy every bit of it and come back a stronger player. All the best Tan. Genesisians who want to send tan off, get back to me.

FC GENESIS 1-2 ULTRAS

FCG crashed to a defeat today at compassvale secondary school, sengkang. FCG took the lead via razali in the first half. Husaini played a wonderful through ball to razali who made no mistake, lobbing the ball pass the on-rushing keeper. 1-0 to FCG.

Two very clinical goals from the Ultras, both in seemingly similar fashion, put them back into the game, bringing a 2-1 lead into half-time. Ultras, having been beaten by AC Team 3-2 in the previous match, had hunger and lots of drive.

Second half began with FCG bombarding attacks after attacks, with shots from yen, ash and razali being parried and saved by the keeper. The Ultras managed to hang on to their lead with their stubborn defending.

As much as we would like to blame the referee for the seemingly bad calls, i guess, its the nature of the game with ref having bad calls and goals being disallowed. In fact, we did not finish when we had the chance to, i had one 1 on 1 situation which i fumbled and also one shot which hit the upright. We're not unlucky, but today it just ain't our day, we did not manage to bring out the form we did against AC Team and also Woodlands Vista, hence the defeat.

What's most important now is that we reflect on this game, how we lost it and we must also remember the feeling of losing. It suck, hell yeah. So we must not taste defeat that is so bitter again. We gotta bounce back, 13 more games and we do have what it takes. Heads up lads...

FC GENSIS 3-0 WOODLANDS VISTA FC

FCG started the d2d div 4 league brightly, snapping 2 wins out of 2, beating ac team 3-2 and now beating woodlands vista fc 3-0. the first half was an edgy affair, with both teams playing well and under siege. FCG had the better of chances but was unable to convert. WVFC also failed to capitalise from the freekicks, with one hitting the crossbar. it was 0-0 at halftime.

Our asst manager, Charles (who was inspired by He Said, She Said.) Said the goals will come and we just got to keep our shape. True enough, the goals came.. in the form of our talismanic striker Razali, who latched onto the loose ball after aloy's shot crashed the crossbar. 1-0 to genesis. Another far drop kick from izree found Ash who cooly passed the ball onto the on-rushing razali to finish in style.

Ash got another assist in the 88th minute after his pass to aloy saw his shot fumbled by the keeper, making it 3-0 and a wonderful genesis win.

Today's team shape was superb, i was particularly happy with how the defence organized ourselves today. Great stuff, lets keep it up guys!

FC GENESIS 3-2 AC TEAM

It was a perfect start in the D2D Div 4 league for FC GENESIS as we managed to chalk away all three points that was for grabs. It was deja vu for AC team as they lost to fcg yet again, the third time in a row, the first two being easy wins for fcg, 5-1, 4-1 respectively.

However, it was not the AC team of old, new recruitments saw them creating more chances and they are also more lethal now. It was all thanks to the wonder goal by Alexander, whereby he took the ball from the midfield line, passed 2 defenders before unleashing his left-footed shot that is always going to beat the keeper that proved the winner.

FCG suffered a late scare in the game where an indirect freekick saw the ball popped into the back of our net, only for the referee to realise his mistake that it was a indirect freekick to disallow the goal. It was overall a great game, there was great movement and more passing. Good start to the league guys, but very much more to improve if we wanna progress further!

New jerseys should arrive by this friday and should be available by this sunday. Hence this sunday we'll wear the white kit.

FC GENESIS 2-0 REF'S PICK (PINK)

It was a fitting start to the season and a good way for the NTU/NUS students to celebrate the end of their exams. a great 2-0 win in spectacular fashion. yen opened the scoring after an early cross in from aloy managed to deceive the keeper for yen to tap the ball into the empty net. It was approximately 10 minutes when the first goal was scored.

The rest of the half was well played by both sides that were equally matched, thrust and counter-thrust, attack and counter-attack. But Najib had a great first half, and managed to keep the opponents at bay. 1-0 the half time score.

The second half saw the opponents raining attacks after attacks on our goalmouth, only for our second keeper for the day, izree to pull out spectacular saves etc. Razali's hard running also provided much trouble for the opposition defence. Marcus capped a spectacular outing with great fashion by heading in a corner in the last few moments of the game, great debut indeed.

The season would start proper in june as we embark on yet another league outing. Things to settle include new jerseys and also new blood. Darius and Marcus managed to impress during today's match and hopefully they would follow Torrence in committing to our team as we seek more talents to join.

Overall, well done lads as we look to embark on yet another wonderful journey together. :D

FC GENESIS 1-0 REF'S PICK (PINK)

FC Genesis without Razali is almost like Manchester United without Wayne Rooney. Today's game against Ref's Pick was harder than we thought. We went there and saw ah bengs, muhds, and indians. We were thinking, confirm fight la. Rather than playing soccer. Turned out that their team were fairly organized and really caught us at times. It was thanks to Najib (who stepped out of retirement) that we're still in the game. First half we're lucky to still be in it 0-0.

2nd half was where the drama unfolds, sliding tackles, vulgarities and tempers flared. But it was from aloy, who finally breaked his duct after so long! who's freekick found the bottom corner to genesis' delight. 1-0 the score. Special mention also to players who came, newcomers han, richard and aaron. Especially Aaron, who made a save on the line after the freekick seemed to have beaten the on-form najib. Great stuff guys. We made this testimonial match for Ryzul a memorable one.

For the uninitiated, Ryzul is embarking on a trip to Dubai on 20th April, for God Damn 5 years. So today he led the team out, to victory, a worthy mention to a player who have served us for so long! Good Luck Ryzul and Good Luck to genesis who will be trying to fill up this gap.

Outing next week. Sat or Sun, alex can u coordinate via FB? send a msg, see who's free when and where. Most likely dinner treat by zul and then bowling! be there or be square! :D

On what was a day with great weather, the opposition team, made up of players almost twice our age, put up some resilient defence against our rain of attacks. we should have killed the game in the first half but due to lack of finishing and brilliant saves from the crossbar and the keeper, the game ended 0-0 first half.

The second half saw us maintaining our reign of attacks and the goal was quick to come. courtesy of a brillian left foot strike from our guest player torrence. following which, you wee also picked up a loose ball in the penalty box, took it past 2 players before finding the net.

Although we did not play beautiful today, at least we got the result. Nxt week shall be our final league game. lets do well and get enough money to buy us a new mikasa ball!!!

As Rooney cuts a forlorn figure at the kovan pitch, it kinda explains the mood of the game. We didnt exactly play a good game but we did fought guys, albeit not hard enough. Kudos to the opposition for being able to absorb our attacks and our defence whom worked fairly hard as well. guilty goes to me and the rest for not being able to finish the game. Thats why playing well for one half never works.

I'm not sure whether any of you see the advertisment posted by sony on the papers (I don't). But our dear GK Najib called me twice to state his interest in this tourney.

Every team will be able to register 8 players and registration cost will be $65/team (i think it's quite cheap).

Final will be played at centre of the town (Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza a.k.a Taka) and there's qualifying rounds at the different sports hall.

With such a huge advertisement posted, I believe best teams around singapore will turn up in this tourney.

A great game under the flood lights today lads. Although the team wasn't as strong as we've thought, we really put in a great performance today, nabbing the goals at times that mattered. Razali finally got his hat-trick, what a time to get it man. And im happy that yen is scoring frequently now! And of course, our dearest ash. Even wichers sms me, HUH! Ash also can score ah. That speaks volumes about what the team think of you ash, time to prove them wrong! haha starting next sunday when we play your church friends.

recently I've been looking up on website such as kallangroar.com and footballopod.com. These websites certainly have many information on teams like us Weekend warriors. Try checking them out, who knows one day we could be inside! ;)

Another thing is some players actually emailed us to check if they could join us. We definitely need commited players especially for league games as we tend to have difficulties filling up the slots.

It was yet another fiery encounter between FC GENESIS and the REF'S PICK. On what was seemingly a friendly match, the opponents became emotionally unstable in the second half. However, despite the game being called off 10 mins from time. It did not take anything away from the superb performance we put in today.

Although we're quite unstable initially, we're lucky to take the lead when a long ball from aloy found razali at the rear end who really worked super hard and made the goal his own. The second came in the second half courtesy of a free kick from aloy (i meant it okay, the shot, not tyco). The third goal was from our in-form super sub, charles lesmana, poaching onto a loose ball into the penalty area. The last goal came courtesy from the also in form yellow banana vapor yen, whose free kick forced the goalkeeper to spill the ball and the on rushing razali made no mistake to make it 4-0! well done guys. superb effort.

It was a long hiatus, having not played for close to a month, genesis is back to basics in a match mauled by bad refereeing and blantant tackles from both sides. The game was held at Siglap Secondary School, bringing delight to many of the easties.

The referee was none other than Mr Kevin Khoo. The famous "unfair" referee that we vowed never to appoint again.

The referee gave away blantant free-kicks and offsides calls that proved disastrous to Genesis' already bad form, 4 losses and 1 draw in the last 5 games.

The game started brightly for genesis as our attacking play brought out great saves from the opposing keeper. In due respect, the opposing keeper did a good job in keeping his team in the game. However he was beaten from a close range aloy snap shot after a wonderful through-ball from ash. Genesis 1-0 up. After which, great play from aloy on the rw set up a open goal for razali to slot in the second goal, genesis 2-0 up and cruising!

However miscommmunications at the back saw the opposing striker head the ball into the empty net, making it 2-1. But charles had other intentions. A brilliant run by charles saw the keeper save the ball, only to deflect the ball back to charles into the empty net. (think drogba's clearance last night) But the final play of the first half goes to the opposing striker who managed to curl a wonderful free kick into the top corner, making it 3-2 the first half score.

The second half saw genesis making smooth and slick movements, only failing to capitalise on the final ball. A blatantly offside ball was ruled onside by Mr KK, allowing the opposing striker to equalise, making the final-score a humble 3-3.

The play of the day goes to Mr KK, after which he came over upon the end of the game, only to say "hey guys, actually you all won 3-2, but i allowed the last goal, making it 3-3". wtf really. hahaha, owells guys, at least he came over and allowed us to screw him. i felt good afterwards!

anyway good game overall guys, after the long hiatus, lets hope the next league match would be a wonderful game for us. till then take care! and lets meet up for bowling real soon.

Outsiders showed us why they are up there in the league. Well, they're fit, strong, aggresive and at times disciplined. What i feel is that, today we did put in a good fight. Despite being down 1-0, we climbed back to 1-1 and i think we seriously almost got away with a well-fought point, until we gave away two more goals.

However, i am really proud of you guys because i think we really stood up to the challenge. We defended with grit and that is what that matters no? Only thing we can think about is.. what we should work on? fitness is something we cannot control, so we really gotta work on it ourselves. for any info on that, can check with alex also.

Another thing to note is that, Im glad we didnt end up in any tussle whatsoever despite the comments and tauntings from the opposition, after all we're a sunday league team, 1 thing to note, most importantly is to enjoy. so enjoy we shall, lets put this away and put on a greater fight the next game.

FC GENESIS 2-2 BISHAN ELEVEN

it was a great day today, salvaging one point from the league leaders. it came with a catch though. the leaders were 1 man down from the start, i.e. they played with 10 men. however, they played with much admiration and still showed they could play with a deficit. however, it was us who scored first.

an corner which went onto the far post was picked up from an unmarked benedict who decided to take a shot at the keeper who was off the line! it paid off, his ball curling into the back of the net. 1-0 genesis and it was half-time.

the second half saw bishan 11 playing with more gusto. they came rampaging down, especially their number 30, winning most of the headers and 50-50 balls. they scored a simple goal, unfortunate for izree who made his return to the genesis goal-line. then, their ang moh import chested a wonderful ball and did a drogba/ibrahimovic, netting the goal with a perfect strike, the only thing he did all night seriously. but 2-1 up bishan.

with 5 minutes to go. a tactical change saw our makeshift right back welson take the right flank position. with his outstanding pace shown when playing rb, we decided to let him exploit the right flank! boy, did it pay off, as his run proved too much for the LB who scored the equaliser earlier on, he was tripped in the penalty box and a penalty was given!

i went to the penalty spot, thinking it was the usual shit im going through. but then again, it was different, this goal meant a lot and i knew i had to score. the first attempt went bagging because i didnt wait for the referee's whistle. this only piled pressure on myself. then i stepped up to take the penalty "again". this time round, i opted for the other direction, only to find my ball being parried away by the keeper onto the post! BUT thankfully the ball came back towards me, i knew i couldnt miss, i placed the rebound/second ball back in to the net. redemption was sweet.

a hard fought 1 point without our malay counterparts. we sure missed them, although charles beg to differ..

haha..

When we first arrived, we knew it was gonna be a rout. Losing was not an option for FCG, and hence we knew we had to be focused on scoring some goals early to help us have a fun and comfortable game. With such a big squad present, there had to be some rotation of players and the vice-captain made it clear that the first eleven had to score a few goals within the first half.

Imposing their will on the technically-lacking opponent, FCG managed to break the deadlock in just 8 minutes when Razali managed to get a shot in and scored. A few minutes later, Aloy, who has been getting a lot of the ball, easily beat his man and put in a wonderful cross for Razali to score his second of the day. When Wichers arrived and asked me the score and time elapsed and I said, "2-0, 13 minutes," he silently knew that it was a sign his reign was coming to an end. There was a strategist superior to him in the form of his assistant manager. He knew the last 2 victories of FCG wasn't because he came late both times; it was because someone was there to cover his ass.

FCG kept pushing but missed many opportunities, and not long after the AC Star managed to slot in what turned out to be their only goal of the game. After a defensive error, their striker managed to place the ball in the bottom left corner and Najib was rooted on the spot. In the second half, almost half the team were new players and it was a gamble to take because another goal at that moment would have killed our morale and there was no telling if we could have recovered but we were confident nonetheless. The decision proved to be a good one as several of the new players were involved in the third goal. A run down the right by me provided Susanto with a pass but he didn't hit the ball clean and it fell to Aloy who deserved a goal. He made no mistake and the team could breathe again. After a series of missed chances by the team, Khai Amri beat his marker and was given the opportunity to extend the lead after he was one-on-one with their GK. He did just that and the team went crazy.

Alex wanted to score for his girlfriend and requested that he comes in as a striker. To be fair, many other benched players wanted to score for his girlfriend, too. But it was to be Husaini who got the nod from the gaffer and he didn't let us down by scoring from a throw-in, followed up with a crisp volley that had their hapless GK stranded on the ground. Alex finally made his way in but had no clear chances to score.

All in all, it was a great day for FCG. All of us had fun, and all of us did well in the game. The 3 points mattered. But above all, we managed to bond again as a team and in true Genesis spirit, we never stopped fighting until the final whistle - even though we were up 5-1.

FC GENESIS 1-1 TP IGNITE

It was a day of wonderful weather and a decent pitch at the north side of Singapore. Amidst all the talk of Liverpool playing Singapore tonight @ 7pm, Genesis had their own war to fight. Especially after a superb barbecue (not the food, but the sharing). Everyone was eager to go, I went to sleep thinking about the match and your comments.

It was yet another tough match for us, playing against the runners-up in the league at the moment, TP IGNITE. Having record several wins and thrashings, Genesis knew we're in for a fight, not literally. We knew the match wasn't going to be easy, but the morale was high in our camp! The match started and Genesis started really brightly, we're attacking and firing on all cylinders, but our shots weren't exactly accurate. Despite that we rode on.. Then came all the tackles from the opponents, hard and tough tackles but sometimes the timing was all wrong. In the space of one half, the opponents recorded 6 yellow cards as they held on to the 1-0 lead. It was towards the end of the first half when an opponent approached the referee and a melee started, with the referee taking centre stage.

The referee was furious and decided to call off the match. At this moment, i think we did very well by not confronting the referee, we respected his decision and stayed calm. We also wanted to continue to train which i feel is really of great spirit by the team. Thus, when the ref told us the match shall carry on, we stood to our ground and were able to deliver.

The second half, i think we played relatively well, threatening to score from several free kicks and direct plays. Thank the Lord because he brought us through this game once again, giving us our second penalty in as many games. This time round, i stood up to the ball, knowing that a miss will mean that we may potentially have our third loss in as many games. I was really relieved as i saw the ball shook the net... Game on! After that we resumed our great attacking plays and we almost scored from yen's header and razali's half chance.

It was not beautiful, it was not perfect. But. Its a start, our first point in the league, and many more to come.

Personally i felt that i may not have fufilled so much of my promises to pass and all. But i'll be trying and shall be a better player in time to come! Thanks for your comments and effort to stay back yesterday, the organizers and I were very happy, even if it meant more expensive taxi fares. Cos you guys are worth it. :)

FC GENESIS 2-3 BISHAN ELEVEN

despite the below-par performance last week, FC Genesis went into the match today against table leaders Bishan Eleven. Having played them a couple of seasons back (2-2 the score that day), FCG knew Bishan Eleven was never going to be easy.

we started with the 4-5-1 formation, with razali as the lone striker and 2 anchoring defensive midfielders in zul and kelvin. the formation worked well for us as we managed to neutralise the opposition despite their attacking prowess. it was God-sent when we went up ahead 1-0 thanks to a very hardworking razali, pestering the opposition, forcing them into an error, as he lobbed the on-rushing keeper cooly.

as TPJC coach Nordin used to say "we're most vulnerable when we've just scored a goal". It proved to be right as Bishan got right back into the game as their cross field pass from the resulting restart found their left midfielder as his calmly slotted the ball past Joe the stand-in keeper. All was not lost, as we continued our attacking. This time round, lady luck decided to come again, as a cross from FCG seemed to be intervened by the hand of a Bishan defender. Penalty given. Aloy stepped up to convert the penalty despite the taunts. 2-1 the half time score.

second half started with the belief that we can win this game. at times, our passing game really seemed to torment the oppositions. we created several chances (yen, santo, kozaw, razali, aloy). but our finishing seem to be the limiting factor again. this time round, it hurt the most as we all knew we could wrap this match up!

two goals from the opposition saw FCG record yet another lost 3-2 the final score. dont be disheartened guys, as far as im concerned, im happy everyone played with so much grit and fighting spirit today. i believe we gave the league leaders their toughest fight so far. still 0 points in the league, but definitely 99 pts in morale. lets go guys! nxt match will be a win!

lastly, regarding the bbq, its this coming saturday evening @ alex gf's place in siglap. there will be good food, awards (player of the year etc), entertainment (erawan) and many more! see you guys there!

FC GENESIS 0-2 YVFC

It was the first game of the league. The opponents did not have a splendid record to show off, recording 1 draw and 2 losses in the first 3 games of the league. Despite that, the opponents did play with much grit and control, which ousted us out of the game.Things that went right was that we kept fighting till the end. Najib did have a splendid game as well.

After the match, the senior players who went for dinner discussed, and agreed that perhaps we should play a more regular line-up week in week out.. After all, this is a league and we really have to start working as a team. Also, maybe instead of having numerous occasions of rolling substitutions, we should employ the 60-30 concept where starting 11 will get to play 60 mins and the subs 30 mins etc. what say you?

This sunday, Bishan 11 will be awaiting us. We won league leaders vanty fc in the previous league game. Lets try our very best on sunday!

this was the last game before the league begins. it may not be the best of matches to close our season of friendlies, but we ought to learn from it. being a flawed individual as well, i know im in no position to judge how we perform. but this was what i felt upon discussion with some of the senior players.

1) we really need to find a permanent dm to fill the centre, there was perpectually no one in the middle vying for the balls, youwee did put in effort though.

2) strikers must learn to be clinical, we easily got 2 or 3 times as many chances as the opponents, but they put more pass us.

3) defenders should learn to play the ball quickly, no hesitation at all.

4) lastly, lately as the gk wasnt really in the form we'd like him to be. we shouldnt blame him at all. cos in fact, he did put in as much effort as everybody else. lets just hope for better games.

Guys, forget this, move on, and do well for the league. :)

After a passing shower, the weather was clear and perfect for soccer. After some intel by alexander and the rest, we found out that the opponents were ex-rugby players! no kidding. so harsh tackles and body slams were part of the agenda of the day i guess!

The game started pretty okay, however, FCG found it hard to match up to the physical aspect of the game, as the opposition consisted of mainly bigger players. However, the first half only saw FCG concede a single goal. half time score 1-0.

The second half started, with FCG hungry for the equaliser. It was through some luck in the penalty box where one of the opposition was judged for manhandling Yen from a corner kick. That led to a penalty that Husaini calmly put away, under the diving keeper's armpit. A bit of luck but that was what we needed. However, having gotten the equaliser, FCG continued the good play, going for the win. However, was unlucky to have conceded a second due to lapse of concentration by the midfielders.

The onslaught continued, with balls being saved by our crossbars and such. Luck was definitely on our side, as much as the talented razali would hope for. Razali latched onto a perfect flick by Husaini, which released razali to be 1 v 1 with the keeper. razali slotted the ball to the far corner of the goal, leaving the keeper no chance! 2-2 the final score!

We could have gone on to win the match with several other chances. but Great game lads. :D well done!

FC GENESIS 4- 2 TEAM INTER MILAN

It was a bright and sunny day at the kovan pitch. Interestingly, most of the genesis players arrived on time, a rare sight these days. We went there, not knowing anything about the opponents we're gonna face. And all i could say was complacency almost got the better of us!

The opponents arrived, clad in nice Inter Milan jerseys. The team jersey was aptly chosen (they had an ang moh and several china nationals in their team), hence the team jersey Internationale.

Enough of crap, so the game went on the way, Genesis was matching up to every challenge and ball posed by the opposing team. It was a classic game, with every attack matching with a counter-attack, every thrust matching a counter-thrust. It was then through a corner kick where the opponents hit us HARD. A great shot from their china playmaker from outside the box defeating Najib who was in goal. It was a shot that even Andre Pirlo would be proud of. Half-time and the scoreline remains 1-0, to Inter.

Half-time tactics saved Genesis!

Having realise that most problems were actually caused by the two opposing centre-mids, and with kelvin and razali unable to neutralise the threat, it was discussed and we decided to place alexander in the DM role in order to neutralise the threat. Aloy was also then shifted to the centre midfield position. Kelvin had to play in a makeshift CB position, kudos to him.

The change worked wonders for Genesis, as Genesis equalised 5 mins after the break, courtesy from a fumble by the opposing keeper, Aloy's shot, although destined for goal, look set to be saved by the keeper comfortably. But the ball had other ideas. It was slotted through the keeper's legs, 1-1! Genesis fans and players cheered.

Genesis continued their onslaught, with a run by Aloy down the right, where he slotted the ball back to husaini, shot got blocked, the on rushing ash decided to have a cracker, got blocked again, and razali too had a shot, got BLOCKED AGAIN! If you think $1 three tries is a good deal, we had FOUR. Yen then got the rebound and slotted in calmly for the GOAL. GENESIS 2-1 UP!

However, a series of lapse in concentration worked against Genesis again, a seemingly offside call on the right flank saw erawan got trampled past by the on-rushing opposition, he then released a shot into the box, Najib looked to have it covered by it spun on the line, only for opposition to slot it in. 2-2!

Instead of giving up, Genesis fought hard, a great through-ball by Alexander, released Razali down the right, he aimed and slotted in cooly into the goal! 3-2 and way to go! The last goal was the best i felt, a series of one touch passing (Barca style) saw Genesis tore the Inter's defense, that allowed Husaini to score one of his easiest goals ever. Great play genesis. 4-2 to the good! and the final whistle blown!

Now, for the time to nominate the MOM for this match, is it any of the scorers? Aloy, Yen, Razali or Husaini, or is it the dominating DM Alexander or the every trustworthy Alfred? Vote now. :D

FC GENESIS 4-3 TEAM HOOLIGANS

As shown above, the team name was aptly chosen for the oppsition. Team Hooligans, and they never faltered to be one. Their team consisted of at least 3 generations of players, the old, the young and the very young! it was as though they had 3 squads there. thats the depth of the team.

Anyways, nonsense aside, the hooligans provided one of the games to remember for FC GENESIS. all the tauntings, bad follow through tackles and unruly behaviour from the fans on the sidelines sums up the match. the hooligans took a lead when a "tonjo" kick managed to fool the impressive "joe" as the goalie makes his debut for FCG. the lead did not last long because razali was brought down in the box, as aloy calmly despatched the penalty.

Taunts increased, tackles flying, caused more trouble for the team in black, as the hooligans put 2 more pass genesis as they resided on a 3-1 lead. something has to be done and FCG were at it again, attacking in fluid motion as soon as the 2nd half has started, the gung ho approach worked, because Genesis placed 3 goals pass the hooligans to seal the match 4-3. Goals were courtesy of a great play by alfred, fooling the defence by releasing a superb ball for yen to execute an excellent finish! Also worth mentioning was Din's great overlap run down the right, sending the ball in, before taking a deflection of a defender into his own net, the goal is yours din!
Last but not least, Din strucked again, with 3 minutes left, when a great run down the left of zul, was eventually met by Din's right foot. silencing the nou camp into a "no" camp.

Great stuff today guys, great fighting spirit as usual!

even the mightiest would fall. we're no exception. despite playing well for our last 4-5 games, today was by far one of the more dismal performance i would say. in particular, the attack was disappointing, chances weren't siezed, and passes weren't linked. kudos to PCC for clinching their few chances well.

all i can say is that, its probably not our day. despite having a decent squad, the result wasn't produced. but guys, no worries, we've done it before, and manchester united has shown us how to do it as well. we'll bounce back. in no time. :)

next week. we'll see.

FC GENESIS 3-3 TEAM WHITE

The weather was good as we prepared for the late kick-off @ tampines st 83. The opponent looked slip-shot and came with no keeper. Thus, they had to rely on a borrowed keeper from the previous match. The game went on the way, with Genesis dominating the first 15 minutes. Genesis created several chances, only to see the final touch go wide. K started in midfield with You Wee and that partnership created chances for Razali and Aloy only to see the ref blow the whistle in lieu of offside. However, Genesis peservered and penetrated, some good work from aloy down the less flank saw a cross floated in, only to be met by the header from K. The keeper was stretched to his limit, but K's finish was good enough to see through the goal. Genesis 1-0 up.

Just when it looked as if Genesis is gonna start rampaging, some good exchanges down the right flank by the opposition saw a volley that is gonna beat any good keeper out there. With that, 1-1 the score and things are heating up. Not giving up, Khayrul and You Wee continued their good work at the centre of the pitch. Some good exchanging of passes, saw K take on 2 defenders before unleashing a hell of a through pass to razali who was open. Razali made no mistakes from 2 metres out, beating the keeper to give Genesis the well deserved lead. 2-1 the score @ Half-Time.

Second Half started, with Din, Fir and Thiam Aik coming in to replace the tired legs. Again, Genesis was dominating play until hell struck. Once again, the problem came from outside the box, another volley from the opposition saw their second goal is almost as many tries. Kudos for that. Right after the restart, Genesis found themselves behind, when a corner frenzy in the penalty box saw their no.22 pounch onto the ball, beating the defenders and alfred @ the goal-line. Score 3-2 and it looked as if the opponents are getting away with the spoils.

However, being the comeback kings, Genesis is far from giving up. We fought on, Ash, Khayrul, Razali were sent on once again, to try to fight back the desperate defending from the opponents. It was 5 minutes from the end. When good work from thiam aik, saw his ball reaching aloy at the left flank. Aloy took on the oncoming defender, wrong footed him and found a 1v1 situation with the goalkeeper. With the goalkeeper getting his bearings wrong, Aloy was spot on in slotting the ball into the far corner. Final Score 3-3! a deserved point!

K was right, we could have done better! But for now, lets embrace our hard-earned draw. We'll do better next time!

BTW, the top 3 scorers of FC GENESIS delivered today. Yen? where are you? Come back soon if u wanna be part of the elites. :D

FC GENESIS 3-1 ALEX'S FRIENDS

Under the scorching sun at 3pm, genesis was ready for a game after a short hiatus. We were kind enough to provide the opponent with one of our players as we had a good turn up for today's game.

Genesis controlled the game immediately after the referee blow his whistle. We were pass the ball in defence when alex decide to pump the ball up the field. A moment of hesitation from both the keeper and defender allowed Razali to sneak in and steal the ball before dribbling it into the empty net. The opponent tried to grab an equaliser and break our defence on a few occasions. But our defence either clear up the mess in time or the opponent's shot was off target. Genesis should have wrapped up the game in the first half as crosses where streamed in from both left and right flank. But the opponent manage to hold on and go into half time a goal down.

The opponent got the break they needed into the game after the restart. Erawan brought down their striker in the box and was given a yellow card. It was either najib's menancing presence or the scorching sun that cause their striker to tamely shoot the ball straight down at najib's feet. As the game wears on, it looked like genesis was going to get their second goal and seal the match. Good interplay by our players upfront caused much trouble to both the keeper and defenders. Erawan almost redeem himself when his dipping shot was tipped over by the keeper. Farhan almost score on his debut but can only watch as his header bounce off the post. The misses prove costly as a long and high punt into our half managed to elude our defence and allow their striker to cooly head the ball beyond a helpless najib. Genesis' dominance early in the game have all gone to waste. However, a tactical change by wichers saw Din(another new prospect) slotting into the right wing and pushing Razali upfront totally changed the game. Razali showed a moment of briliance when he cooly flicked the ball over the defenders head and send a shot which the keeper managed to keep out. You wee could have scored the winner had he placed his shot instead of blasting it wide when he was free outside the penalty box. Din who managed to get alot of time on the ball send in a low cross which the keeper fumbled. A mad scramble followed but a calm razali managed to control the ball and shoot in straight into goal to gain the lead back for genesis. The gam was put beyond doubt when farrel's shot shook the back of the net after the keeper slipped and watch the ball go over his head. Shortly after that.. the referee blow the fianl whistle.

For all his hardwork and moments of brilliance.. Razali is undoubtedly the MOM for today's match. His 2 goals helped genesis gained yet another victory and see him leading the scoring charts... will he continue scoring at this outstanding rate or will last's year top scorer make him work for it? ALOY... Its your time to shine!

A great man once said, "no other team can match genesis fc's fighting spirit"-Alexander suherman. Many great teams have come from behind to win matches in spectacular fashion. But none would match the grit and the hearts of 11 genesis players on the field yesterday.

The venue for this clash was an open field at punggol. Against an opponent whom we have met before and they have requested for a rematch. In the first game, genesis had to come from behind to win 5-4 against them. will this match the same or will it be a breeze for either one of the teams?

Under the scorching sun, the match started off with quick passing from genesis and with the opponent happy to keep possesion most of the time. The sun seem to take its toll on some of the players as the opponent were allowed time and space with the ball. And in an instant, a moment of slack defending and a goalkeeping error allow the opponent to take the lead. With no one closing him down, the opponent decided to take a long shot from almost the half way line. Najib seem to have it covered and decided to tip it over the bar. But he only managed to tip it into the top corner instead. Maybe it was the sunlight which blurred his vision. Genesis created a few chances but most of our shots were tamed and with some desperate defending by the opponents denied genesis the equaliser. Razali had a penalty claim turned down as the ref decided to play advantage to genesis. That prove to be costly as the opponent got a second from a corner. A seemingly harmless ball was floated in and najib fumbled the ball into the opponent's feet. With the goal gaping, it was impossible for the opponent to miss. Genesis go into half time 2 nil down but with their heads up high.

Genesis started the second half with more self belied and a renewed fighting spirit. Genesis kept the ball and played a passing game. Needing a goal to get back the game, genesis finally got a breakthrough when a long searching ball from erawan freed aloy in the opponent's penalty box.
With the defender and keeper closing him down, aloy cleverly squared the ball into the path of razali who had all the time in the world to slot the ball into the empty net. The goal lifted our spirits and in quick succesion we got our equaliser albeit calls for an obvious offside. When genesis won a freekick in the opponent's half. Aloy decide to take it quickly and release isaac in the penalty box. with the defenders and keeper caught offguard, isaac drive the ball into the bottom corner. Much to the relief of genesis, the ref awarded the goal to genesis. A debut goal for isaac. The opponent saw how much we were fighting to win and decide to up their game. they played more to the wing and pump the ball into our half. They got back the lead when a tame shot from outside the penalty box saw najib parry it into the opponent's feet yet again and he dully accept it with a goal to his name. even as the opponent take the lead after genesis worked hard to get the equaliser, we hold true to our motto - "genesis never stop fighting till the final whistle blow". And to epitomise that motto, our captain for the game showed the real meaning of true determination and grit. When a ball was played into the box, the keeper and defender had it covered. However aloy decided to intervined and poke his boots in between them and got genesis back into the game. Genesis then had several chances to take the lead with a stream of corners and crosses which saw alex, you wee and razali squandering their chances. The opponent too had the miss of the season. A ball was floated in and with no genesis defender in sight and najib out of position. Their striker manage to head the ball from the near post and onto the other side of the far post when its easier to aim at the open goal. A stroke of luck for genesis. And genesis duly get their winner thanks to our captain again. Aloy showed once again genesis fighting spirit and harassed the keeper when the ball was played into the box. The keeper decide to kick it first time only to fumbled. Aloy from a seemingly impossible angle manage to get the ball into the net despite being down on the floor. Genesis fought to keep the lead that they worked hard for. And it was almost shattered when a corner at the death saw a sea of players challenging for the ball in the genesis box. On what is a very cooling day for soccer. Genesis did it again in what should be considered a tough win over a very physical team. Despite earlier mentions that there is a lack of players for the game in our new kit, we managed to start the game with a strong starting 11 as well as 3 substitutes. The opponent consisted of secondary school friends who've played together for a long time now, and that is evident from their brilliant passing and great understanding for each other.

Not losing out, Genesis fought back with gritty passing as well as great tackling as the opponents pile up heaps of pressure on us early in the first half. It didnt help that Husaini later got sent off for what is seemingly a harsh decision made by the referee. However, credit goes to the opponent for allowing us to substitute a player in, in lieu that this was still a friendly game after all.

The referee later made another dubious decision, a judged handball in the penalty box as Kelvin was trying to get the ball into the opponents' half. Genesis was awarded a penalty. Although Aloysius was the usual penalty taker, Razali let his confidence took over and decided to take the penalty. Razali put the ball into the net, not once but twice, as the first kick was judged to be a fault commited by Kelvin. Nevertheless, Razali made no mistake from the spot, scoring his second goal of the season. Genesis 1-0 up.

The second half saw a few changes with Greddy, Frank and Qamarul being brought into the game. The trio performed well enough to keep the opponents at bay. The last 10 minutes of the second half saw the opponents up their tempo in an attempt to spoil Genesis' win. But tough tackling by the defenders of Genesis made sure that didnt happen.

The final whistle blown, 1-0 to Genesis. A great win, but definitely not something to be complacent of. We're capable of better games yeah!

Last but not least, kudos goes to the opponent for playing a clean game and also the gesture to let us continue with 11 men despite the sending off. :)

FC GENESIS 3 - 2 TEAM AUSSIE

For those who watched the manchester united's and chelsea's game last night will talk about how they fight till the final whistle. If the epl teams can do.. Genesis can do better. We will fight till our last breath.. even against opponents bigger than us. Or A contender participant for that matter!

Genesis was depleted for this match. With our captain derrick back in indo, our vice captain aloy had sch commitments and our star striker husay out serving the nation. Even with a depleted squad, We manage to dominate possesion for the first 10 mins against a team much bigger and taller than all of us. However, miscommunication and lapses in concentration allow the opponent to get alot of shots at goal. But luckily for us, they were either off target or saved by najib. As the game wears on the opponent started to play aggresively using their hands to gain advantage much the annoyance to Genesis. The half ended with each team unable to get into the score sheet. And genesis had little chance in front of goal.

At half time, Genesis complained to the ref regarding the use of hands by the opponents. And in the second half it shows that the ref was against us for complaining with some decision highly contested by us. The second half saw Genesis yet again dominating the play for the first few minutes. But the opponent gained the upperhand when a apparent push on our keeper saw the goal gaping for the opponent to tap in the ball into the empty net. The goal was questionable as najib got pushed in the midst of the scramble and earn himself a yellow for dissing the ref. The goal woke us up. And a bad back pass by the last defender of the opponent saw razali showing the true genesis fighting spirit to challenge the ball with the keeper cleanly and slot it into an empty net. Genesis than scored in quick succesion when a neat long ball found benedict empty on the left hand side. Benedict produced a beautiful curler which nestle into the top corner for genesis to take the lead. Our bday boy khayrul got on a score sheet when he converted a penalty after he was brought down in the box. The opponent continue to pressed and tempers started to fly. Amri was booked for a challenge from the back. You wee then got a taste of what its like to be in THE CONTENDER when he was challenged to a fight by one of the opponent. THe opponent manage to claw one back when their striker got free due to misjugdment on our defensive line and slot it past najib. they continue to find the equaliser but the final beat them to it..

Genesis would like to wish KHAYRULHAYAT a happy 21st bday. He is arguably the MOM for today's match. To us, he is like what ronaldo* is to manchester united. An absolute gem!
*Ronaldo in season 07/08... not this season's ronaldo...

FC GENESIS 1-2 REF'S PICK

2nd game of the year. vanue of the game is Mayflower secondary school. we need to wear blue as our opponent is wearing our favourite orange. Just to set the atmosphere, weather is pretty cloudy and windy for the game. and finally our ref came to start the game. with no time to warm up as a team, starting 11 were set without wichers in charge.

Opponent were pretty big compared to most of us, with their fast mix passes and composure, they start to take control of the game from the start. afew times we manage to go through their defence, but we were not able to get the ball through the net. At one time we were attacking, but opponent manage to clear the ball out to their half to one of their striker, being caught off guard, we found alfred at our last defence line, but the opponent striker were too fast that they scored their 1st goal. 0-1 genesis down. The team tried hard to equalize but it doesnt seems to help. 1st half wistle is blown.

During break the team discuss all mean to get our goal through them. and its decided some changes were made with focus on attacking like we always do, from the sides. With our mind focus on what we want, the team cheer "GENESIS"!

2nd half start, it shows the team spirit as the team progress on attacking much more then the 1t half. I'd like to apologise for not at my best form as i (yen) wasted way too many given chances. With the "good" refree we had today, he actually gave a PK for Alex's soft challenge in the penalty box. There goes another goal. 0-2. Our chance came with the freekick for opponents high feet. khay step up to it and slot it into the goal! But it's disallowed for it is indirect freekick?!?! HUH! Again razali was brought down, freekick for us. I decided to take it, this time the pole stop us from scoring! It's been quite frustrating game for not able to score given so many chances. K.Amri and and Khayrul linked well on the right with their short passes getting through the defence, but again khayrul's power shot were stopped by the GK. Our only goal finally come, a freekick from zul at the centre meantly for husaini, ended up to K.Amri, crossed it to centre and reach Khayrul's feet where he slot it into the goal 1-2. Being motivated with the goal we worked hard for another, but before it come, final whistle was blown. Final score 1-2, 1st lost of the year for genesis. No more lost, we'll fight hard for the next game.

FC GENESIS 2-0 REF'S PICK

its the first game for 2009, and its good to see that the team has taken off from where it left off. carrying over its good work in 2008, Genesis registered yet another win over the tough opponents who were notably up to 2 times as old as us. Despite the age deficit, team X still managed to put up a relatively good fight against the 17-men strong squad of FC Genesis.

its one of the best turnout ever, albeit not the best performance. The players who shone on the ground turned out to be the bishan park players, husaini and yen, both getting a goal each in this highly contested game. (what about yours zul?) The game also saw our keeper Najid making some spectacular saves, which even prompted the opponents to commend on the keeper's great performances, way to go Najid!

There's nothing much to be said about this game, except that I hope genesis will continue to put in a strong performance in any match we play, and register more wins! Im sure our stellar perfoamance will continue as long as players come regularly and that we stop playing with 9 players!!!!

FC GENESIS 4-4 TIENG VIET

Arguably the last game of the year, it was a rainy afternoon on what we always deem as the comdemned pitch. However, Genesis still managed to put on a strong fight against the viet team, albeit a tad similar to the Singapore vs Vietnam game held recently. In that instance, it was the Singapore team who lost to the Vietnamese. For this game, Genesis would love to think otherwise.

The game went underway with both sides launching attacks simultaneously. However, a lucky break was what FC Genesis needed to draw first blood. A great pass from Farrel saw the ball reached aloy where he took on the defender and then launched a shot from afar that the keeper wasnt aware off. No surprise, the ball shook the back of the net. First blood to Genesis. But the viets keep fighting back. Each goal we scored, they did the same.

Soon it was all fair and square, we needed Yen's goal before the half-time whistle to make it 2-1. Advantage Genesis. The half time break saw a revitalised vietnamese side, as they rained attacks on the genesis back four. a mistake by Genesis defender Alexander, saw the vietnamese side being awarded a penalty. No mistakes from their no.8, the score now stands at 2-2.

Genesis continued their attacking play and was duly rewarded with goals from Xing, and Khairul Amri. However the reselient defense and attack of the vietnamese side saw them equalise on both occasions, and even threatened to steal the game away. Thankfully the final whistle blew and it was a 4-4 draw. Great match for the spectators i would say. But we can definitely do better than that.

Meanwhile. lets celebrate the new year. :)

After a long long time, finally we played against an Indonesian team. Its a sunny Saturday afternoon and Fc Genesis is packed with players (surprising!) with the number of players we had, it’s quite troublesome to choose the starting 11 though. Anyway...

FC Dielo kick off, with a 4-4-2 formation FC Genesis had a high morale and decided to mixed some new player 1st and resting a few 'usual' starting line up boys. FC Genesis chooses to pressure the opponent right from the 1st second. With khayrulhayat at the centre, opponent has difficulties passing our hardworking midfielder. Given the strength we had, FC Dielo was bombared with attack and passes from Genesis. Even though passes can be better, luck was on our side when Husaini tried to play one – two with Torrence and accidentally the ball laid nicely to Yen’s feet and he whacked it low into the net! 1-0. Not long after that, Khayrulhayat manage to win the ball at the back and choose to run with it. Then he pass it to Yen who’s free on the opponents 3rd, and with back flick, the ball was on Khayrulhayat feet again. Continue with the run, Khayrulhayat left with the GK to beat and there goes 2-0!

3rd goal was again scored by yen where the ball was pass by Torrence nicely to him where he stands in front of the goal post, faked one player and shot a low drive to the left goalpost. GK manage to tip it but the ball went through, hit the pole and 3-0. Husaini did tried a few long range shots but the ball prefer not to go into the post (try harder next time husay)! And first half ends with 3-0.

A few substitution were made and starts FC Genesis with the kickoff. With Yen’s target of winning double digits by the end of the game, we were running high. But it seems that the opponent was more stable at the backline and manages to break through our defence a few times. Being caught unprepared at the back, to our surprise opponent manages to score one goal. 3-1! FC Genesis kept the focus to score as many goals as possible. But passes were cut off by opponents and it’s been quite a frustrating 2nd half where score was maintain at 3-1 for almost 30 minutes of the game. Finally another goal was created by our VC Aloy! Manfred on the left, like always, able to break through the defence line. With his trick and being unselfish, opponent having difficulties closing him down and cross was made to the back most where the ball meet Aloy’s right foot and there goes our final score 4-1!

Overall, even though team did not play at their best given the good attendance on that day, we manage to score with grace! Great job team! Till next game!

The game started off even with the opponent having a few knocks at our goal. A long punt from Erawan saw husaini rushing towards goal early in the game. But the keeper was equal to it and we got a game on. An under par erawan gifted the opponent's right wing too much time and space to cross the ball into our penalty area. The ball was half cleared by alfred and their striker took a shot. Even with Alex blocking the shot. It was unfortunate that the ball lob over Najib to give our opponent their first goal. That goal woke us up and we started to quicken the pace. A freekick from inside the centre circle by zul saw yen. erawan and saini rushing to the goal with the opponents calling for offside. the decision go our way and the ball fall kindly for kindly for saini who wif the deftest of touches slide the ball into the net. He clearly showed wad genesis was missing when he is not around. The killer touch. But luck was running out for genesis. Najib( our 1st choice keeper) had a bad collision with the opponent and had to be taken out. in came our stand in keeper. The shortest player of genesis. Erawan. He was quickly called into action. With the opponent striker clear on goal. He drive the ball towards goal. Erawan dived and full stretch and got the ball out of the way. But the ball fell kindly to their other striker juz outside the box. He too took a shot on goal. With the ball at full speed erawan manage to get his hands on the ball and alfred manage to clear the ball away. Genesis should have taken the lead had our strikers take their chances. namely Ash and Husaini. Some how, after a long time of not playing with each other. they keep getting in each other's way on goal. A few chances saw them clear through on goal. Its either the keeper manage to get it away. or they get in each other's way. We go into half time level.

Genesis get the ball rolling in the second half. We took the lead straight from the kick off. A clever through ball from Ilyas saw hong peng and their last defender rushing towards the ball. Ash showed his tremendous pace and his never give up attitude. he manage to get pass the defender and get to the ball first. He then cleverly slide the ball under the on rushing keeper and continue to chase after the ball and simply blast the ball into the empty net. A goal worthy of praise. Well done Ash. The opponent began to get frustrated with the dubious call made by the ref and temperature slowly start to rise. A bad tackle from the opponent on aloysius almost spark a free for all but we manage to carry on the game. With getting the equaliser in mind, the opponent keep on piling the pressure on us. But our 2 excellent centre backs stand firm. Marshalling every danger out of the way. In an attempt to clear the danger, Alex manage to accidentally kick the opponent and manage to add more fuel to to the fire. This time, we had to pull people from starting a brawl. But soccer is soccer. the game continues. The opponent finally get what they deserve. An qualiser through a stroke of luck. A freekick from outside the box was parried by erawan but took and unfortunate deflection from one of our players and crept into the net. With that, najib was called into goal back again. Both side had equal half chances to take the game right at the deft. But in the earn. Both side got a good game and no bad blood after the game.

For the first time, Genesis have a major concern. Our unbeaten streak look to be destroyed due to the fact that most of our first team have other commitments. alex(studies),aloy(injury), Alfred(personal), Hong peng(church), senthil(injured), Khai and khay(visiting).

Due to the unforseen circumstances, Genesis had to start with 10 men with a make-shift defence of greg(lb), xavier(cb)-new guy, Benedict(cb)- new player, Erawan(rb) Plus Ilyas(cm)-new signing. Lucky for us. The opponent also have onnly 10 men to start with. A team made of decent looking malay guys trying to prove their worth. And they didnt have to take long to make an impact. The lack of understanding between the defence and keeper clearly shows when their striker manage to get to a through pass and score the winning goal. Genesis as always never stop fighting. A good interplay between razali and ilyas saw ilyas being brought down in the opponent penalty box. Razali, who been MIA, decide to step up and scored much to our delight. The next goal shows zul great vision when his cross from the left found yen who strike it first time into the bottom corner. Another beauty from zul saw his shot hit the crossbar and yen can only shoot the rebound wide. Next to hit the post is yen. His shot from inside the penalty box hit the cross bar. The opponent manage to claw their back with a free header.

Half time score- 2 -2

The second half started with a goal in the opponent's credit. Their striker manage to sneak in between 2 of our defenders and send a looping header into the back of the net. genesis tried to get the equaliser but their defence stand firm. some woeful finishing from yen saw his missing a few golden opportunity. so much so it promted Ryzul to shout "how to chase aloy like that". that seem to wake yen up. (We may have the ans to yen's below par performance thus far-ans at the end of the blog..) Felix manage to get our equaliser when he manage to get past their last defender and and slot it past their keeper. At last our winning goal came when a quick free kick from our half find razali. He played a ball to the wing for yen. yen manage to beat the right back. he manage to cut it back for felix to ram it into the net. Finally, genesis won!

FC GENESIS 6-1 REF's PICK

After what seemed to be yet another 2 weeks hiatus. Genesis is back with a bang with an outstanding 6-1 win over the Ref's Pick. It was a day of hot weather down at broadrick secondary. FC Genesis didnt start off the match too well, having only 10 players, which includes several new faces as well. However, it was great to see Kenny Ng back in action again, after an ankle injury that saw him sidelined for close to 2 months.

The match started off in the hot weather and it didnt take long for FC Genesis to exploit the seemingly "slow" and "inexperienced" backline of the opponents. Or should i say, "over-experienced" backline. Regardless, Aloysius pounced onto a great ball down the line and the score was 1-0. It didnt take long for Aloysius to get his second after the captain unselfishly set up a great return ball to set up another 1 on 1 situation and Aloy kept the keeper rooted to the ground as the ball went in to make it 2-0.

Just before the second half, Khairul Amri, now a regular with FC Genesis, added to his scoring streak by rounding the keeper and finishing the move with a great left foot shot, making it 3-0.
Second half started with FC Genesis knowing all they have to do is to maintain their ground. Good switching of play saw FC Genesis exploit the opponent's defence time and again, and it wasn't surprising to see our captain net 2 and khai adding one more to his tally. Final score 6-1, the one goal we conceded being a penalty that wasnt worth mentioning.

Overall, i think it was a great outing for the Genesisians. However, the not so good point is the lack of depth in the team, which is a problem that has bothered us for so long. We're playing with 9-10 men throughout the match, and i would say we're lucky to have survived what might have been an onslaught if we were to play stronger teams. Also, Kenny got his first marching orders after his hands cant seem to resist the opponent's body. We need to take not of all these things if we were to grow as a team. :)

Having said all these. I still wanna commend the team and the players for the commitment you all have shown throughout this season. So far so good babes!

No match this coming sunday, but try to go Najib's place for hari raya celeb yeah!? :) more details to be posted asap.

Fc Genesis 3 - 2 Ref's pick

Fc Genesis came prepared for a soccer match. We arrived early at the venue for warm ups and kick-about. Even that was not enough to prepare us for the boxing match that the opponent had in mind for us.

Genesis got off to a very good start to the game. Aloysius signal his intention of getting the golden boot by scoring with the first shot on target of the game in the first minute. That early goal seem to wake the opponent up. Being technically superior, The opponent passed the ball around nicely with genesis players chasing after every ball. The opponent got their break through when a goal kick from alfred was headed back into genesis half by their midfield. Alex, in a attempt to clear the ball, manage to lob the ball over our defense. Their striker using his speed manage to get to the ball and hook it over alfred and into the bottom corner of out goal. Frustrations start to fly. With ko zaw receiving his yellow card for lunge in the centre half. Genesis almost got the lead through jason but his effort was cleared off the line by the opponent and the ref deem that the ball had not corss the line. The opponent keep on knocking on genesis goal but we somehow manage to hold them till half time. By that time, a few bad tackles have been made which the referee choose to close his eyes to.
Half time score 1-1.

The opponent came on the second half fighting. Literally. They made a alot of bad tackles but the ref chose not to flash any cards. It seem as if the ref was wearing the opponent's blue jersey under his white jersey. The opponent continue their onslaught on genesis' goal. The got their reward when alex floored their striker from a resulting corner. The pressure was on najib to save the penalty. The opponent simply blast the penalty straight down the middle with pace that najib's palm was useless in preventing it from going in. In the spirit of genesis, We never stop fighting. Aloy was book for kicking the opponent when chasing after the ball. It almost started a free for all brawl. Genesis tried hard to get back into the game with jason hitting the post yet again. However, A superb strike from benedict manage to elude the keeper's fingertips and got our equaliser. Khayrul Almost came close to Getting us the lead when his free kick goal bound drive curl away from goal at the last moment. Frustration got the better of khayrul and he got yellow carded for kicking the ball away after an offside offence.the many dubious decision that went against us. Genesis tried hard to win the match. We finally got what we deserve when a throw in from khayul find greg who cross the ball in. Jason manage to distract the keeper and he fumbled the ball into aloysius' lap. With the goal gapping, Aloysius gracefully accept the offer and adds another to his tally. the opponent, not to be hard done tried to equalise. a free kick from the centre half manage to free their winger who thump the ball goal wards. Najib being ever so realible when it matters manage to pull off a magnificient save. When the final whistle blow, We knew we have not only won the soccer match, but also the boxing match that the opponent had in mind for us from the start. playing against 12 men is never easy. But genesis once again manage to pull through.

A fitting way of saying goodbye to Maung Ko Zaw who is heading back to liverpool for his studies. We wish him all the best and look forward to his return in the future. We would also like to welcome back Greg back to the team after going MIA for so long.

Due to overwhelming demand, this match report is brought to you by our stand in reporter A.K.A the shortest player of genesis fc.

Lately, Organising games for Fc genesis have been a daunting task due to new commitments(school and Ns) of our players. Even for this match we had trouble getting the main team down and had to call players to stand in for the match. in total we had 4 new players on Genesis starting line up. Plus the rain was like an omnious sign of things to come.

The game started of rather scrappy for genesis with players misunderstading each other. The opponents had pace and ability to match. a defence splitting run on our rigth flank saw the opponent crossing the ball into the penalty box and scored a simple tap in in front of goal. But genesis never keep their spirit down. With a moment of magic and raizul sweet left foot curler into the top corner of the opponent's goal saw us draw level. Another defensive error saw the opponent shooting towards goal and through the legs of najib for their second goal of the match. once again genesis have to dig deep and equalise. A quick freekick from the centre of the saw raizul play a neat ball to ieun on the left side of the field. His cross eluded the opponent's defense and saw 3 genesis player chasing after the ball. Khairul with his speed and tenacity, deftly flick the ball over the keeper's head to level the score yet again. But credit to the opponent for scoring the next goal with a powerful drive which eluded the diving finger tips of najib.

The second half saw a change in the line up with alex back in the heart of defence partnering alfred. and Khayrul playing in the middle of the park. A tactical change which turn the game around. Khayrul with his non stop running for the ball deserve his goal with a Gerrard/Lampard-like freekick into the opponent's bottom corner. Score 3-3. and once again, not to be hard done, the opponent scored from a freekick outside the penalty box with the ball barely missing najib grasp and into the goal. With the restart genesis almost equalise with a superb cross by ieun which was fumbled by the keeper. Jason gave chase and beautifully set hong peng up with a back heel which hong peng squandered with the goal gapping. And to make up for his mistake, Ash got into the scoring sheet when he latch on erawan's free kick from genesis have and blast it past the keeper to level the match yet again. Genesis were tested over and over again. Najib making up for his errors in the match earlier, made a couple of wonder saves that would leave van der sar in shame. hahah.. unbiased comment ok? Thanks to najib's superb second half performance, genesis was able to wrap up the match with a penalty for an handball offence in the penalty box. Jason cooly held his nerve and strike the ball as lampard would to score the winning penalty. In the spirit of friendlies, we allow the opponnet to play with 11 men despite being red carded and went unpunished despite a strong comeback from the opponent in the last 10 mins of the game. When the final whistle was heard, the never say die attitude prevails.

Once again, Fc genesis showed our mental toughness and press on to win the match. A never say die spirit which was examplified by LIVERPOOL's victory over Man U have rubbed onto the fc genesis players. As most of them are devil fans, maybe it was their way of seeking revenge. so to future opponents.. do not play us after man u lose.. HAHAHHAH!!

okay, i seriously dont know how long i havent blogged for fc-genesis already! but its good to know we're all still around isnt it. it was good seeing the good ol faces.. it was even better that it was yet another great match from FC Genesis. the opponents, PUB RC really pushed us, and it was a moment of magic from our captain himself, derrick, that the deadlock was broken!

but much to our dismay, we conceded yet another relatively late goal, allowing PUB RC to get a share of the ruins. however, the result is not something we are looking towards, its the camaraderie and the teamwork that makes playing for genesis such a wonderful thing.

so more matches to come i hope?

Season Break, but not Prison Break.

And so it was, in a beautiful location of Victoria Junior College. we faced the giants of the "A" division, albeit the alumni team of vjc soccer. i have to admit, the setting was great, a superb artificial field plus the great posters of adidas. almost felt like we're in jalan besar junior.

many familiar faces from the vjc alumni team, as we greeted each other in the hot afternoon of 3pm. it was our last match before the season takes a break for a brief 1 mth, as most of the players arent gonna be available for the month of july.

and the match went underway. it was a gritty 1st half, the defence did well except for that early goal we conceded due to a clearing error. half-time and we're 1-0 down, quite a good result considering playing the almighty. however, the 1-0 lead was not to be, as second half, the vjcians exploited us again, not once, not twice but thrice. final score 4-0, with Genesis losing their second match in a row.

it was not a flourish end to our season. but i'd like to say, great fighting spirit today at vjc, as well as thanks for being so co-operative for this half a year. im happy to say that, im looking forward to every sunday soccer, and its unfortunate that this one month we won't be able to hold any matches. but fret not, come 1 mth's time, we'll be back and fighting okay! with possibilities of a new jersey (from thailand), and maybe even new members, so stay tuned yeah guys!

anyway, please be co-operative with alex as he arranges the futsal sessions okay. then maybe every week we can meet up for futsal or something. with this, i end this post and our prison, sorry, season break! have a great hols guys.

SAMTAS 11-A-SIDE SOCCER LEAGUE

Listed below is the main info about the upcoming league which kicks off from the first weekend of August:

Each team can register a maximum of 20 players per team.

A minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 teams to participate in the league. Currently we have 5 confirmed teams and many more interested. First come first serve basis.

All games will be played on either Saturday noon (3 to 5pm and 5 to 7pm slots) or Sunday morning (9 to 11am and 11am to 1pm slots).

All games will be played in either of the listed pitches: St Wifred Stadium, Xinmin Secondary School, Woodlands Secondary School, Jurong Junior College and Si Ling Secondary School.

Fixtures will be decided and mailed out to teams two weeks before the start of the league.

There are two methods of payment. Teams can either choose to pay the entire sum required
before the registration deadline, which is 10th July 2008, or can choose to pay in two installments (one before the registration deadline and the second by 15th August 2008).

Discounts will be offered to teams that pay the lump sum in one payment.

Only even number of teams will participate in the league. So it’s either 8, 10 or 12 teams. The cost of registration is as follows:

* 8 teams in the league – Total cost = S$1120 (total of 14 games)
* Discounted rate for lump sum payment – S$1000

* 10 teams in the league – Total cost = S$1440 (total of 18 games)
* Discounted rate for lump sum payment – S$1200

* 12 teams in the league – Total cost = S$1760 (total of 22 games)
* Discounted rate for lump sum payment – S$1500

Prizes will be awarded to the team that is first placed at the end of the league in the form of medals for each of the 20 players in the team and a league trophy. This arrangement will be the same regardless of whether how many teams are finally registered for the league.

Cash prizes will only be given out to the first placed team if there are 12 teams playing in the league.

Guys, this is the info regarding the SAMTAS 11-a-side league. I feel that its not a bad choice to join this league because it eases the trouble of having to plan a game each week, furthermore, this would ensure we'd be having a league match every weekend also. besides, i've done my calculation and i feel that the price is reasonable.

However, that is if we pay a lump sum, which amounts from $1000 (14 games) to 1500 (22 games), taking our team to have about 13-15 players, each player has to fork out about 100 dollars in advance.. BUT think about it! pay this 100 dollars and you dont have to worry about anymore payment during matches!! for the whole of 4 months. so, now, i wuld like u guys to comment about this league. besides, every game they organised costs about 71 dollars, we normally pay about 80 dollars, so why not?

A voting poll will be set up to see the response towards joining this league. However, as such, once u decide to join, u gotta try to make urself available for all these matches, some being on sat afternoon and some on sunday morning. so, to join or not, comment/vote.

In what appeared to be a pontential euro 2008 final between holland (genesis) and portugal (fc maroon), the match turned out to be one hell of an exciting game.

despite having a star-studded line-up for this weekend's match, the genesisians failed to extend their winning streak, as fc maroon clearly showed us, that we're not really there yet. the setting (tkss) was good, the ref (negro) was fair, and really kudos to the opponents for being fair and relatively clean. it was a making of a really good game.

early in the first half, as early as the third minute, a through ball from fc maroon's dangerous playmaker found its way to its prolific striker, who puts the ball past najib, despite his dive, and it was 1-0 to fc maroon, easy as that. it was a 50-50 ball, offside or not, its disputed, but clearly, the back four didnt manage to catch up with the speedy striker, which led to the goal. genesisians held their head high and continued fighting, but misses from faidhi, derrick and ash, sums up the issue. and a counter-attack saw the maroons set up another 1 on 1 with najib, which their striker put away easily once again. half-time score, 2-0. and kozaw's cautioned for his "scouser" language.

in the second half, tactical changes made is that the traditional 4-4-2 was converted to a 3-5-2 formation, whereby kenny had to be substituted out to be replaced by zul, who would pack the midfield together with kozaw. the formation seemed to work out in several instances, as the opponents' attack seemed to be cut down, however, one thing that was sacrificed was also our attacking chances, as the wingers have to drop by to cover the wingback position, our wing play is thus proved futile, leading to less chances from the wings, however, the long balls played up, was well exploited by derrick and senthil, making chances still very imminent for the oranges. and waaa-daa, the goal finally came, courtesy of our very own khairul amri, with his traditional run down the left, finishing well with his left foot, courtesy of a derrick assist. 2-1 and genesisians FIGHT ON.

the rest of the game was played in the opponents half, as Genesisians start their artillery bombardment in the opponent's penalty box, however, lacklustre finishing from the midfielders and the strikers failed to get genesis the much awaited equaliser. kozaw also got himself a red-card with 5 mins left, with a two footed lunge on the opponents, which was a tackle that i would make, if given the chance too. so fret not, kozaw, cos we dont blame you. final whistle blown, and i can say, we tried! guys, we tried. even the ref felt that it was a well-contested match-up. well done guys..

like what i said previously, there are still alot of positives to be achieved from a lost match, like for instances, we all found out that the 3-5-2 formation does work, but some things would be sacrificed, also, we realised that kozaw's still @ his best, despite the long absence. and also, not forgetting kenny, ash, yen, khairul for having a good game as well.

next week is the vjc match, and we all know what we're in for, nxt week, Genesis will continue to fight until the final whistle is blown yeah! cheers guys!

It was a day of perfect weather, though the not so satisfactory venue. The team strength was there, with 13 players willing to get dirty in a Genesis shirt. It was also sort of Husaini's last match in a Genesis shirt, as he prepare to serve the nation. As the VC of FC Genesis, i'd like to represent the team and wish Husaini all the best in his future endeavours, and be sure to come for matches when you can yeah Husaini. :)

Back to the match, the Genesisians had a bright start, taking the lead through aloy's volley early in the game. Not being disrespectful to the opponents, but i've got to say FC Genesis simply controlled the game from that goal onwards. Mistakes from the opposing keeper saw Genesis spread the lead wider and wider, beyond the reach of LHFC. 2 goals from Senthil, one whereby he took the wingback on with his pace, cut in, and slot the ball beyond the reach of the opposing keeper, classic winning eleven style, classic "spaghetti boy". And 1 more goal from captain, derrick, made the half time score 4-0, and a comfortable game was on the cards for the guys in orange.

Second half started, and a tactical switch saw marshall took over the CB position from alex, and dansen was substituted in for ryzul. The substitutions did their job well to ensure the clean sheet of FC Genesis. Further fumbles from the opposing keeper, saw Genesis extend their lead further, 5-0, 6-0, 7-0. all courtesy of our captain, derrick, who climbed up the scorers' chart to take the second place with 8 goals now. 1 game, and derrick has climbed above 5 other players to get the second spot. way to go man! also, something to cheer about was aloy, or rather my 9 game scoring streak, i hope it goes all the way yeah.

To be frank, the opponents did play a fair game and it was a enjoyable day for the Genesisians, its just unlucky for las hearts i'd say.

To add on, i'd like to thank dansen, for making the trip down to play a wonderful game for us, and more notably, help us win so beautifully.

Last but not least, i'd like to say job well done to Kenny/Daniel/Senthil/Yen/Susanto, for playing so well today, kenny and daniel for keeping the opponent's wingers @ bay, senthil for the sensational plays that led to his two goals, yen/derrick for his super duper 4 goals, and susanto for his hardworking-ness on the pitch. as such, i nominate these 5 fellas for the MOM this week, be sure to vote yeah!

it was a day of seemingly good weather at compassvale secondary school. finally, its was a match at the east side. great for the easties. and the first half went underway. the opponents were "used to be" poly players, judging from the jerseys they don. so, it was understandable right from the start, they'd be a hard team to beat. but the first half was particularly good. although most of times the opponents had the better of chances, we did cre8 our own fair share of chances, namely aloy, ash and husaini getting the most of it. however, to our disappointment, most chances are wasted. the opponent took the lead very early in the match, due to an rare error. but as usual, we did not give up, and a rare breakthrough from aloy prove to be the equaliser. it was a relatively promising performance otherwise. attacking football prove to be the edge we have over our opponents. HALF-TIME score, 1-1. and we're pretty much in the game.

the second half started swiftly and being Genesis, we went in with that hunger to win and all. we played well in several parts of the game, as our speedy attackers managed to breakdown their stellar defense in several parts of the game. but all we lacked is that finishing touch, to kill them once and for all. and that proved to be fatal for us, as we conceded that unlucky second goal.. and it was 2-1, in their favour. the rest of the game, we're pretty much struggling to fight back with several half-chances, but all either went over the bar, or was well-saved by the opposing goalkeeper. it was then, this power shot from husaini came about. it was a cross which was headed out of the opponents penalty box by the opposing defender, that ended up in husaini's right foot, and his first time half-volley floated into the back of the net in specatacular fashion, one of saini's finest moments i gotta say. and just when we thought we got back into the game. several fatal mistakes saw the opponents score 3 in less than 10 mins. that's it. Genesis battered, beaten and fallen. this is our second lost in 3 matches. but we've fought and endured. so i'd still say. well done guys.

i was on e bus back with erawan this evening after the match. and erawan reminded me that, in a soccer match, its not really about the results, its about the improvement each player makes.. that matters. and i was thinking about it.. and these particular players really made an impact in today's game. and the list is..

ash, for the many runs and killer passes today, he really deserved to have that very special goal, but just unlucky, to have eluded him so many times today. but dude, remember, its team play thats important, and i'd gladly say that u've shown much improvement in today's game.

zul, for that many headers i see you winning today, it was perfecto! but just remember that please make sure others know you're going for the header. dont be a quiet header of the ball

it was a day of mixed weathers, with the sun scorching hot in the early hours, and the unprecedent appearance of dark clouds as match time comes approaching. damn everyone must be worried the match would be cancelled. and thank God it wasnt. cos what a match it had turned out to be. i was telling the guys.. "vanty fc is challenging us @ the wrong time man, when we're wounded, dying to prove ourselves once again, and when alfred and razali is back to the crew"

as the match went on the way, crunching tackles and bad calls from the ref was often and getting a little bit irritating. plus the passing rain and slippery pitch, both teams are careful not to make any mistake. kenny was on the pitch as faidhi, our debutant was changing to his boots in double quick time. then came a corner for genesis. the swap was made, faidhi was substituted in to replace kenny in the striker position. and it must have been God's will. as faidhi's first touch ended up into a goal, poaching an opportunistic goal, after a melee in the opponents penalty box, resulting from the corner. 1-0 up and still fighting strong.

the match proved to be more and more physical as the clock ticks away, but the backline of Genesis still seemed unshaken, alfred's strong aerial ability, coupled with several gung-ho tackles ensured that najib did not have much to be worried about. so much such that najib told me to leave his back four alone, not to make any changes during half-time.

but that was not all, before the half time whistle was blown. a series of good passing, saw ash set up aloy for a shot outside the penalty box, which he took with his left foot. the shot didnt seemed to be that of any fireball, but it found the net due to the precision of the strike, as it landed into the back of the net from the opponent's left corner post. 2-0 up, and it was half-time.

first half goes to Genesis. without a doubt. second half was the same old story, we continued to pressure up front, and continued to absorb @ the back. superb defendings from the back 4, as well as great goalkeeping from the "great one" ensured that the elusive clean sheet was intact. and midway through second half, a seemingly harmless cross from khairul on the left, floated into the back of the net, adding salt to the opponent's wound. then, i knew we won the game. but as khairul was saying. even ronaldinho miskicks and finds the ball into the net. its okay khairul, u can claim the goal.

it was overall a great outing for the team today. everyone did their best and it was one of the best performances yet. the team was a tough physical hardcore muhd team, but we did it. so it goes to show how potent we could be, as long as everyone has the commitment to come. so.. kudos guys, great performance. im glad/happy/elated/jovial to lead u guys into the pitch today. at the count of 3.. 1.. 2.. 3.. GENESIS. :)

to add on, new signings khairul amri and faidhi did extremely well on their first game today, and they deserve a contract each. both new signings have scored on their debut. way to go.. also, i felt susanto had a strong performance today as well..! great stuff. just hope these guys are willing to join us, on what is the best roller coaster ride ever. ride on the wave man. wave of success. :)

i was astonished to find the blog in such a sorry state, especially when my internet is down and all, thus leading to me being unable to churn out the usual FT Report. i just wanna express how unhappy i am, when i came to know about what is going on in this blog.

charles, im not blaming you, and i agree with you that the blog is where we can have our own opinions and all. i think both sides are at fault over this issue, us about not being more discreet about what we felt, and Team RFC for just bombarding into our blog this way.

Team RFC, i understand your unhappiness with how the so called FT Report is being written, but i'd like to stress that this is our blog and we have the right how we want to write it. i included a tag board for comments and for the fun of it, not for the explicit usage how it has turned out to be. I'm pretty upset, at the same time sorry at how we've made you unhappy and all. but all i want you to know is, no one is happy losing, so as a matter of fact, i hope you'd leave us here. and we'll respect you guys more.

I, am the vice captain of the team, and i firmly believe, we lost to a team who played better on the day itself, that i really do not deny. i enjoyed the process of arranging the match-up with Joel. and as a matter of fact, i didnt feel that much influx of sadness at all, because i firmly believe in "enjoying the process" and not the "result". as much as im unhappy about certain issues with the refree-ing that day, i m giving it the benefit of the doubt. i've spoken to the refree and i've cleared issues with him.

However, on behalf of my team, i hereby and sincerely wish that you guys would just leave it from here, and we'll give you all the respect you need. I admit the report by 18 was a bit harsh, but we do have our prerogative yeah?

so, please, if you wish to gain our respect, just leave it from here, and i'll say a big THANKS.
